Neil Fitzpatrick

Founder

Neil Fitzpatrick is the co-founder and CFO of Headlands Technologies LLC, a global quantitative proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices in New York, Austin, Amsterdam and Singapore.

Prior to Headlands Technologies, Mr. Fitzpatrick was COO of Citadel Execution Services, an affiliate of Citadel Investment Group, LLC in Chicago. He was responsible for the design, launch, and ongoing operations of Citadel’s equities market making and option routing businesses. These businesses executed 30% of U.S. retail equity trades and more than 40% of U.S. retail option trades.

Before joining Citadel, he worked for Knight Capital Group in a variety of positions, with responsibility for all equity trading operations.

He served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Edge ECN and on the CBOE Equity Option Procedures Committee. He earned a CPA license, and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York.
